CSL 50Cal RW-MR M5
Multi Role Rocket Wrench
The CSL 50Cal RW-MR M5 Multi-Role Rocket Wrench is a remotely operated fuze removal tool designed to generate high rotational torque for loosening and unscrewing UXO fuzes. The system utilises .50 calibre EOD cartridges to deliver controlled mechanical force, allowing render-safe procedures to be conducted from a safe distance.

The fifth-generation model introduces a unique Super-Torque mass ejection system, significantly increasing rotational force to overcome seized or heavily weathered fuzes commonly found on legacy munitions. In Super-Torque configuration, output torque is increased threefold, enabling the tool to defeat fuzes that cannot be removed using conventional methods.

Built on the proven platform of the fourth-generation Rocket Wrench, the M5 features heavy-duty clamping bolts, interchangeable jaw sets, and rocket tubes manufactured from precipitation-hardened 17-4 stainless steel (AISI 630). The chassis is machined from aircraft-grade aluminium, providing high strength while maintaining manageable weight for field deployment.

The Rocket Wrench can be deployed in standard or Super-Torque configurations, allowing the operator to adapt the system to suit limited space. Waterproofed breech plugs and the Super-Torque barrels enable semi-submerged or fully submerged operation, expanding the system’s effectiveness in maritime or flooded environments.
