The CSL 900 EST is an advanced 3rd Generation Electronic Stethoscope System designed for both EOD and C-IED applications. The equipment is designed to amplify acoustic vibrations which are the basis of sound waves, emanating from mechanical, electro-mechanical and certain electronic fuses and timing devices. The principal receptor for monitoring acoustic vibrations is the Contact Microphone. The system also includes a Contactless Doppler Microphone which can pick up the physical movement of mechanical parts in a timer.

The Light Drilling Rig is designed for drilling boreholes necessary when using electronic locator such as the Ferex 4.021 or the Vallon VX1 Magnetometer to locate buried unexploded bombs (UXO). Also, for the drilling of boreholes for placement of explosives, inspection, water boreholes and foundation holes for pylons, fence and stockade posts. This is a great piece of equipment for aiding in the mitigation of buried UXO.
