CSL FE No8 MK4
UXO Fuze Extractor
The CSL FE No8 MK4 Fuze Extractor is a semi-remote fuze removal system designed to safely extract a wide range of UXO nose and tail fuzes from a standoff distance of up to 100 metres. It is particularly well suited to hazardous or ATEX environments, where the use of propellant-driven systems such as Rocket Wrenches is unsuitable or prohibited.

The system operates via a robust, manually driven cable mechanism that delivers controlled rotational force to the fuze while allowing the operator to remain at a safe distance. Its design prioritises reliability, adaptability, and rapid deployment in challenging field conditions.

The Mark 4 variant introduces a reversible cable drum, enabling operators to switch quickly between clockwise and anti-clockwise operation without disassembly or rewinding. This significantly reduces setup time and improves operational efficiency during complex render safe procedures.
