Our own Chris Hawthorne MInstRE was joined by Glyn Hannah EngTech to spend two weeks in Slovenia, training units from land-based EOD and Civil Protection Police in the use of Richmond Defence System's products.
Over the fortnight, these technicians were taught the skills required to operate equipment supplied to their units safely and effectively.
Within this fully comprehensive training package, they gained the skills to operate:
Vulkan M2 Maxi Recoilless De-Armer Disruptor
Viper Midi Recoilless De-Armer Disrupter
Underwater De-Armer (Disruptor) Viper
RW-MR M5 Multi-Role Rocket Wrench
No8 Mk3 Fuze Extractor
Freeze Neutralising Kit with Remote Activated Injector Kit
Electronic Stethoscope
Our team were made to feel extremely welcome, and have made new friendships along the way.
