It's been a busy week here at Richmond with visits from Inoke Veikune of UKDSE, and Professor John Economou of Cranfield University - the site has been buzzing with activity.
Inoke was here for an introduction to Richmond and to see our facilities first-hand. During his two-day visit, he was shown our products including solutions for case entry, monitoring, and disruption.
With Chris Hawthorne MInstRE's instruction, he got hands-on in our range, with live firing of the Vulkan disruptor and deployment of the Rocket Wrench. Chris mocked up a number of scenarios, including a pipe-bomb, and a partially obscured IED.

We are pleased that with this training, Inoke will give live demos of both products at the Home Office's Security and Policing event, to be held at the Farnborough International Exhibition and Conference Centre in March.
Prof. Economou has spent two days with our R & D team in the lab and outside flying one of our prototype drones. John is working hard with our team of skilled engineers to embed capabilities in algorithm development to create a novel first-to-market EOD system that allows operators the means to neutralise IEDs and UXBs with reduced deployment time-to-target, terrain challenges, and ground safety hazards.
