Fuze Neutralising Equipment
The CSL 35 NEF Fuze Neutralising Equipment is a self-contained EOD kit designed to introduce controlled neutralising agents into selected fuze mechanisms in order to safely disable their functional elements. The system supports three proven neutralisation techniques: BD liquid for electronic capacitor-based fuzes, a salt solution to arrest mechanical movement within fuze assemblies, and a gelling agent for situations where complete and permanent immobilisation of internal components is required.
Neutralising Methods:

BD Liquid is used against electronic capacitor-based fuzes to break down insulation and safely discharge firing capacitors to earth.

Salt Solution is introduced into selected mechanical fuze mechanisms to flood moving parts and create a locking deposit once the solution evaporates.

Gelling Agent is applied where total prevention of mechanical movement is required, rapidly immobilising internal components.
Specification:
The Fuze Neutralising Equipment is supplied as a fully self-contained set, packed in a ruggedised Peli transit case. The case includes provision for two gelling agent kits, which are normally supplied separately due to limited shelf life.
